RENO NEWS & REVIEW

It’s heady stuff for a cabaret show, to be sure, but for Sarah Sperber, CEO of Rogue Worx, Watts’ ideas were the catalyst for The Game, the company’s most ambitious production to date.

Rogue Worx premiered its latest production, “The Game,” at The Theatre on Keystone Avenue, and it lived up to expectations. The performance adopts a game show format, where the audience casts real-time votes to steer the plot.

The show starts with a captivating dance performance, and the only character to receive a formal introduction, “Zander,” leaps out of the audience to join the dance.

RENO NEWS & REVIEW

"Rogue Worx’s new mystery cabaret, ‘Hush,’ blends Victorian glamour with cheeky humor."

THIS IS RENO

A saucy cabaret-style murder mystery, Hush is the second Rogue Worx production to take the Theatre’s stage. Initially it was only set for three performances in February but was recently extended through the end of March. A madcap combination of music, dance, acrobatics, and intrigue, Hush is Rogue Worx letting Reno know they’re back for blood.

RENO NEWS & REVIEW

"The 73-minute show comes complete with impressive aerialists; exceptional, high-energy choreography set to some of the best tunes of the ’90s and early 2000s; a spectacular array of costumes; truly jaw-dropping contortionist acts; jugglers; stunning acrobatic roller skating; vocals performed by Sperber herself; and comedy, thanks to interstitial flashback videos regarding the generation’s many foibles."

"I can't believe the decade when I was born is now being memorialized."
